Troy Batchelor's slightly extended wait to reignite his King's Lynn career will begin at his former club this evening.

The Stars' winter signing – who spent the last four seasons with their opponents tonight, Swindon Robins – was set to make his first appearance of 2016 in Norfolk last night. But he was left more frustrated than anybody when the fixture was postponed because of the rain.

Batchelor won't have to wait long to make his first Stars appearance since 2006 though with Lynn heading west for the 'return' clash this afternoon.

'I was hoping to get started with a home meeting, because obviously I've been practising at Lynn and it's one of my favourite tracks,' said Batchelor, who broke his arm in a motorcross accident over the winter.

'It is what it is, and we'll go to Swindon now giving it our best shot to try and come away with something. It's a track I know well but it can be a tough track as well, and the Swindon boys are going well at the moment so I'm going to have to be on top of my game for sure.

'It's definitely not going to be the easiest first meeting back, but I'm just looking forward to being back racing again.'

Niels-Kristian Iversen will line-up for Lynn having been set to miss last night's clash due to Danish League commitments.
