Pinewood Park A have moved to the top of Division Two of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League following the weekend matches.

Playing away at Hunstanton they won by 85 shots to 75, with the top rink honours being shared by the Hunstanton rink skipped by Roy Ebbs (25-17) and the Pinewood rink skipped by Duncan Toyn (27-19).

Diss A are level on points at the top of the table after they won away at Norfolk BC B by 92 shots to 55, captain Roger Barnbrook's rink winning 23-9. County Arts B ended the recent successful run when they lost at home to Browston A by 94 shots to 52, Peter Hurren's rink for Browston top scoring 28-10.

Acle B moved up the table following their win away at Shotford A by 80 shots to 77, J Harris's rink winning 21-16.

North Walsham are the new leaders in Division 3 following their win away at Acle 'C' by 81 shots to 75, their rink skipped by A Edgar winning 22-16.

Dereham A are now second after they won away at Brecks by 104 shots to 68, Gerry Swindell's rink winning 33-13. Pinewood Park B gained a much needed win at home to Lakeside B with their rink skipped by Geoff Gravenor top scoring 33-12.

Lynnsport B have moved into second place in Division Five, after they won at home to Shotford B by 82 shots to 71, despite the Shotford rink skipped by D. Eastwell top scoring 29-9.

In the Norfolk CIBA Top Ten League, Acle continue to dominate the top of the table after they beat Brecks 79-62.

Next week sees the fourth round of the Denny Cup, with Norfolk BC playing Ipswich and Acle playing Barking, while in the third round of the Denny Plate County Arts play Mid Suffolk.
