Pentney A have now moved into the second promotion spot in Division Two of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League after they won at home to County Arts B by 74 shots to 68.

Pentney gained victory despite the away rink skipped by Norman Gant top scoring 21-10.

Although winning at home to Browston A 82-75, Dereham A stayed bottom of the table with their rink skipped by Roger Rudling winning 24-13.

Hunstanton remain unbeaten in Division Three (North) after they won at home to Old Hall by 100 shots to 71, their rink skipped by Colin Bunn winning 32-9.

Roundwood C beat Gallow B at home by 97 shots to 57, Brian Deakins' rink winning 36-10, and Woodlands B beat Lynnsport B at home by 103 shots to 77, Terry Cox's rink winning 37-13.

Roundwood A also remain unbeaten at the top of Division Three (Central) after they won away at Wymondham C by 111 shots to 44, their rink skipped by John Hipperson top scoring 31-8.

The Brecks won at home to Dereham B by 94 shots to 64, Eric Melton's rink winning 27-13, whilst County Arts C lost at home to North Walsham by 81 shots to 60, the away rink skipped by Vaughan Wilson winning 29-9.

The top of the table clash in Division Three (South) saw Acle C move to the top of the table on shot difference after they won at home to Lowestoft Rail by 96 shots to 64, their rink skipped by Alan Kendall top scoring 30-11.

Great Yarmouth won away at Norfolk BC C by 108 shots to 59, their rink skipped by G Roper winning 37-16 and Shotford B won at home to Roundwood B by 100 shots to 62 with their rink skipped by Mike Morgan winning 26-9.

In the Norfolk CIBA Top Ten League Pentney beat Woodlands by 80 shots to 67 to move up to second place in the table.

Norfolk CIBA lost to Northamptonshire CIBA in the quarter-finals of the National Under 25 Inter-County Double Rink competition by 38 shots to 32.

In their latest Inter County Friendly Norfolk CIBA beat Suffolk CIBA by 166 shots to 80 in a game played at Browston Hall IBC.

After the game Tony Dunton, Norfolk CIBA President 2014-2015 was presented with a County Commemorative Tie for achieving 300 appearances for the county.
