THETFORD Dolphins Swimming Club will be 40 years old this year.
The club is planning to give club members old, older and new a chance to renew old friendships and rivalries (swimming rivalries that is) on Saturday, starting with a fun gala at Waterworld where swimmers will have the opportunity to swim competitively again.
There will be opportunities for individual races, (if you wish to have a head to head race against some of your friends let us know) and some friendly relays with swimmers past and present taking part.
The gala will be followed by a party at the Carnegie rooms where you can dance the night away or renew old friendships.
The club is looking for photographs from the past to display on the day and are compiling a history of the club so would be grateful for copies of press cuttings, old photos, your stories etc.
