parkrun round-up: City of Norwich AC runner sets new personal best at Gorleston

Framlingham Flyers' Darren Sheppard broke the 18-minute mark at Lowestoft on Saturday as he led the 328 runners home in 17:48.
Sheppard, who was just outside his personal best of 17:43, was followed by Benn Walker in 18:09 on his first taste of the Lowestoft course, and Matt Howard (Norwich Road Runners) in third in 18:27.
Junior runner Grace Forster (City of Norwich AC) was first female in 20:40 with Nicola Lambert-John (Coltishall Jaguars) second in 21:43. Tracy Prewer (Lowestoft Road Runners) was third in 22:43.
Robert Milner celebrated his 125th event whilst Christine Muttitt and Ian Harper notched up their 75th. Matthew Reynolds and Mark Stanton took part in their 50th parkruns.

City of Norwich AC runner Will Simm set a new personal best of 16:46 as first runner at Gorleston Cliffs.
The youngster led the 313 runners home in 16:46, more than a minute head of his closest rival, Jak Wright (Dagenham 88 Runners) in second in 17:49. Junior runner Billy Heseltine (Bloodhill Runners) was third in 18:17.
Colleen Mukuya was first female in 19:19, made all the more impressive that this was achieved with one of her daughters in a buggy. Phoebe Baker (Great Yarmouth & District AC) was second in 21:55 with youngster Allyna Mukuya (Great Yarmouth & District AC) third in 21:58.
Tina Walker completed her 50th parkrun in 31:16.

Matt Pyatt (Renegade Runners) was in fine form as first runner home at King's Lynn in 16:39.
Second-placed Marlon Dunkle (Rushcliffe AC) also broke the 17-minute barrier in 16:55 with Martin Jennings (Fenland Running Club) third in 17:26.
Sally Lynn Hurst (Renegade Runners) was first female in 20:44 with Debbie Schwarz (West Norfolk AC) second in 21:05. Lisa Pyatt (Renegade Runners) was third in 22:03.
Michael Lucking completed his 50th event in 21:08.
