Runners were out in force to brave the cold conditions and get some December exercise in as focus turns to Blickling, King's Lynn, Catton and Thetford parkruns
The 209th edition of the Blickling parkrun took place at the weekend with nine first timers getting involved.
A total of 144 runners took part with junior Ethan Davies (North Norfolk Harriers AC) first across the line in 18:06. Matthew Webb (Tri-Anglia) followed him home in 18:17 whilst North Norfolk Beach Runners' Tony Witmond was third in 19:04.

Felicity Quinn was first female whilst Nina Atkinson of Reepham Runners set a new personal best of 21:54 for second place. Paula Lawson (Reepham Runners) was third female in 23:20.

Visiting runner James Lee enjoyed his 100th parkrun at Catton on Saturday.
The Stubbington Green Runners' member came home in 20:01 to complete the landmark whilst Daniel Brock (23:56), Alex Gaunt (27:35), Lucy Ring (31:36) and Matt Howes (31:37) all finished their 50th event.
Matt Ellis (Tri-Anglia) was the first runner home out of the 220 finishers in 18:20 whilst Coltishall Jaguars' Anthony Alborough was second in 18:49. Jonathan Cordle (Tri Anglia) was third in 19:14.
Amy Beck (Norwich Road Runners) was first female in 20:39 ahead of club mate Sally Cushing in 24:01. Coltishall Jaguars' Deb Jones was third female in 24:15.

Matt Pyatt was first home in the 330th edition of King's Lynn parkrun on Saturday.
The Renegade Runners' member was first through the finisher's funnel in 16:47 whilst Wayne Lathwell set a new personal best in second (17:10). Warren Armstrong (Ryston Runners AC) was third in 18:30.
Sally Lynn Hurst was four seconds outside of her personal best as first female in 20:18 with Debbie Schwarz (West Norfolk AC) second in 22:04. Lisa Pyatt (Renegade Runners) was just behind her in third in 22:10.
Chris Hopewell celebrated his 100th parkrun by setting a new personal best of 19:21 whilst junior Jannis Koulman celebrated the same landmark in 21:24.
David Armstrong (Bushfield Joggers) chose King's Lynn for his 100th parkrun in 31:28.

Alan Hume (Norfolk Gazelles AC) made his first experience of Thetford parkrun count as he was first runner home in 17:42.
Hume was well ahead of the rest of the field with Ben Churchman (Diss & District AC) second in 19:02 and visiting runner Michael Tonkins (Porter Valley Plodders) third in 19:08.
Natalie King was first female with a new personal best of 23:19 with Nicola Byford second in 24:07. Heidi Teixera was third in 24:29.
Ros Upstone finished her 150th parkrun in 35:16 whilst Sarah Dunsdon (Run Mummy Run) completed her 100th parkrun in 26:33. Lee Peters enjoyed his 50th in a time of 28:28.
