Norwich United will be looking to bounce back after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at AFC Hornchurch, when they take on Phoenix Sports at Plantation Park this evening.

Steve Eastaugh's men slipped to ninth place thanks to Phoenix's 4-3 victory at Dereham Town on Saturday but despite this a win tonight would push the Planters up to seventh and just two points off fifth-placed Haringey Borough who hold that all important final play-off place.

With the Planters embarking on a run of five consecutive home games tonight, they will still be entertaining hopes of what would be a remarkable achievement in their first season at step four.

Phoenix will themselves be keen for victory as that would take them above Haringey and into fifth place. The early season pacesetters had seemed to be out of the race following a nine-match run without a win in the autumn, including a late winner by Jamie Speller when the two sides met in November. However six wins and a draw from their last seven games has seen them rise back into contention.

The Planters are still without skipper Andy Eastaugh as he recovers from his broken nose.
