Norwich booked their place in the Norfolk 20/20 Cup final last night when they beat holders Horsford by 17 runs in the second semi-final at Manor Park.

Winning the toss, Norwich were 127 all out in 20 overs, Tom Vaughan making 38 and Matt Willmott 27.

For the hosts, skipper Paul Newman, Chris Brown and Chris Browne each took two wickets, while Matthew Wilkinson returned figures of one for 12 in four overs.

In reply, Horsford were bowled out for 110 from 19.5 overs. Duminda Perera made 24 and Newman struck four sixes and two fours in a late assault, making 44 from 27 balls. Norwich's Paul Wiseman took three for 10, skipper Chris Borrett three for 20 and Surappulige Malinga two for 14.

Norwich face Swardeston in the final at Manor Park on Friday, July 27 (6pm).
