Norwich hotel to light up in honour of Olympian Nick Dempsey

A Norwich hotel will be lighting up with a projection of windsurfer Nick Dempsey in honour of his London 2012 achievements tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.

The Mulbarton windsurfer will head into tomorrow's RS-X medal race virtually assured of a medal, having chalked up finishes of ninth and second in Sunday's two races – giving him an overall tally of 35 points and a firm grip on second place.

To mark his achievements, the front of Holiday Inn Carrow Road will be taken over with a huge projection of the Athens bronze medallist.

Don't miss Wednesday's paper for the full report on Dempsey's race.
