Norwich City are said to be watching with interest the position of Ajax's Vurnon Anita amid reports he is open to a switch to the Premier League.
The Holland international, who can play as a defensive midfielder or at left-back, is reported to be high on Newcastle United's wanted list but is currently in talks with Ajax – who visit Carrow Road in a pre-season friendly on July 31 – over his future.
Reports suggest Newcastle have already seen a �5million offer rejected by the Dutch club but could snare their man if they up the bid to �8m.
