Robbie Brady is a man in demand but Alex Neil insisted after a 3-1 Championship win over Wolves no suitors have matched the Canaries' valuation of the Republic of Ireland international.

Brady slotted a second-half penalty to sink Paul Lambert's side but the Dubliner continues to be heavily touted with the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

Neil reiterated the Canaries are under no pressure to offload the 25-year-old, after fresh reports on Friday claimed the Clarets had returned with a third offer of £13m.

'Every player has got their price,' he said. 'We have had numerous offers for Robbie but none that fit the bill in terms of our valuation of Robbie. If he leaves this club it will only be when a club meets his valuation. We have had several offers from several clubs. Are they getting close? For their benefit if they are reading this then, no.

'Martin Olsson has left so that is an area we are looking to potentially buy. Now Martin has gone we are in a position where we don't have to sell. We can pick and chose who we sell, if we do, and that strengthens our hand in terms of departures. With incomings we are looking at the best players available for the best price.'

Neil made it clear again City have a target list.

'We have our constraints that we need to work in but what I would maintain is we have a really good squad. It is one of those if the right player crops up we will be in the market,' he said. 'We certainly have a lot of targets. Sometimes that depends on other departures. The one thing I would say is we could end up doing a lot of business, depending on what happens, or some business. Every manager wants new players. I am no different, 100pc.'

Kyle Lafferty threw his shirt into the crowd at the final whistle but City have had no bids for the Northern Irish international. Neil also confirmed a groin injury has scuppered Michael Turner's chances of a potential New Year exit.

'Michael is injured at the moment. Which is unfortunate for him,' he said. 'He was fit right up until the start of the window. We would have been actively trying to do something with Michael but I feel for him because he got a bad tear in his groin. He has tried to keep himself fit, waiting for the window to open so he could go and play some football. I don't think that will be the case before the end of the window.

'As for Kyle, no interest. You can't sell someone who no-one is coming into buy. Kyle played his part in these last two games but no-one has shown an interest.'
