Norwich City Under-23s will face Reading in the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup.

The tie is scheduled to be played between Friday, April 28 and Monday, May 1, with full details yet to be confirmed.

Norwich sealed their place in the last four with a 1-0 win over Liverpool in Chester last night, thanks to a thunderbolt from Ebou Adams.

The young Canaries reached that stage of the competition after beating Everton home and away, as well as beating Wolves and drawing with Portsmouth at home, to finish second in their group, followed by a dramatic win on penalties against Fulham after a 5-5 draw at Colney in the last 16.

Reading cruised to qualification from their group with home and away wins over Stoke and Birmingham, as well as a home defeat and an away draw against Sheffield United. That was followed by a 4-1 victory against Middlesbrough and 1-0 win at Newcastle in the quarter-finals on Monday.

The other semi-final sees Portsmouth make the trip to Swansea City.
