Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has made two changes to his starting XI for this afternoon's Championship clash with in-form Bristol City at Carrow Road.

Farke made five changes for the midweek 3-1 win at Brentford in the Carabao Cup, following on from the 1-0 win at Sheffield United last week.

He has made just two changes from that midweek team today though, Marco Stiepermann coming back in at left-back in place of James Husband and Cameron Jerome replacing Wes Hoolahan.

With top scorer Nelson Oliveira still out with a groin problem, Jerome continues up front in the league, after Marley Watkins had deputised at Griffin Park on Tuesday – with Watkins starting wide this afternoon.

That means Southampton loanee Harrison Reed keeps his place in midfield ahead of Alex Tettey

Bristol boss Lee Johnson reverts largely to the team which beat Derby 4-1 at Ashton Gate last Saturday, having made nine changes to the team which beat Stoke 2-0 in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

The Robins have lost just one of their 11 matches so far this season and bring the division's top scorer, academy product Bobby Reid, with six goals in eight games, back into their starting XI.

Norwich (4-2-3-1): Gunn; Pinto (C), Zimmermann, Klose, Stiepermann; Reed, Trybull; Watkins, Vrancic, Murphy; Jerome. Subs: McGovern (GK), Husband, Hoolahan, Wildschut, Maddison, Tettey, Hanley

Bristol City (4-4-2): Fielding; Wright (C), Flint, Baker, Bryan; Paterson, Smith, Brownhill, Leko; Diédhiou, Reid. Subs: Steele (GK), Magnusson, Hegeler, Pack, O'Dowda, Eliasson, Taylor
