Norwich City Under-23s were sunk by two first half goals in last night's Premier League Two clash at Swansea.

The young Canaries competed well at the Swans' Landore training ground, but rarely troubled the hosts, who are flying high at the top of the table.

Swansea wrapped the game up with two goals in the space of four minutes late in the opening period.

Ebou Adams had seen an effort deflected just wide for City before they went behind on 35 minutes as Connor Roberts raced through before beating Ben Killip.

The home side quickly made it 2-0 when Adam King tapped home Roberts' cross and would have scored more after the break had it not been for a number of fine stops from the Norwich keeper.

Richard Money and Matt Gill took the team following Dmitri Halajko's departure.

City Under-23s: Killip, Ramsay, Efete, Odusina, Lewis, Crowe, Sambu (Syme 45), Adams, Jaiyesimi, Cantwell, Ashley-Seal.
