Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has made three changes to his starting XI for today's final game of the season at Sheffield Wednesday.

All three are largely expected, with Christoph Zimmermann and Tom Trybull coming in for Grant Hanley and Mario Vrancic in central defence and midfield respectively. Trybull makes his first start since the 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough in early February, when he injured ankle and knee ligaments, having returned as a substitute last weekend.

The other change sees Cuban winger Onel Hernandez start in place of Wes Hoolahan, who played his final game for Norwich last weekend. Loanees Angus Gunn, Harrison Reed and Moritz Leitner all start potentially their final games, with Reed retaining the right-back spot ahead of Ivo Pinto.

The Canaries have only lost one of their last five games and are looking to finish the campaign with some momentum in tact by building on last weekend's 2-1 home win over mid-table rivals Leeds.

Victory would guarantee 12th place and a top-half finish for Daniel Farke's squad, in turn ensuring that City finish above local rivals Ipswich Town, who host play-off qualifiers Middlesbrough.

Norwich have not won any of their last seven attempts at Hillsbrorough, being thrashed 5-1 last season and losing five of those games. The last win came back in December 2001, in style, when Nigel Worthington's team won 5-0 and Gary Holt scored a long-range thunderbolt.

Wednesday make two changes, with long-serving skipper Glenn Loovens brought back for a farewell game in place of Tom Lees and Ashley Baker replaces Jordan Thorniley in midfield.

The Owls have endured an injury-hit season but have won five of their last eight games and drew 0-0 away to champions Wolves last weekend.

Wednesday can finish anywhere between 14th and 17th in the table depending on results elsewhere.

Norwich: Gunn; Reed, Zimmermann, Klose (C), Lewis; Leitner, Trybull; Hernandez, Maddison, Murphy; Oliveira. Subs: McGovern (GK), Raggett, Pinto, Husband, Stiepermann, Watkins, Srbeny

Wednesday: Dawson; Verancio, Loovens, Pudil; Reach, Pelupessy, Bannan, Baker; Forestieri, Nuhiu, Joao. Subs: Wildsmith, Lees, Nielsen, Palmer, Thorniley, Rhodes, Matias
