Canaries fans have been urged to go online and reveal their matchday rituals and earn the Championship club a share of 100,000 for community initiatives.

The Canaries are supporting Nicotinell, the official smoke-free partner of the Football League, to publicise national no smoking day, which takes place on March 11.

A study commissioned by Nicotinell revealed 10pc of Norwich fans believe their matchday rituals directly affect the performances of Bryan Gunn's men, while 20 per cent would miss their mum's birthday to attend a game at the Carrow Road.

Ryan Kemp, from Dereham, revealed his matchday ritual, he said: 'I always go through the same turnstile - I can't be responsible for us losing.'
