The Republic of Ireland are through to the knockout stages of Euro 2016 - thanks to Norwich City duo Wes Hoolahan and Robbie Brady.
Martin O'Neill's men looked to be heading out of the competition when second-half substitute Hoolahan curled a ball onto the head of Brady who glanced home inside the Italian box in the 85th minute to spark wild celebrations among the huge Irish contingent behind the Italy goal.
Hoolahan had moments earlier spurned a gilt-edged chance to fire the Irish ahead when he tamely curled a close range shot at Salvatore Sirigu, but the Norwich talisman kept his composure to pick out the perfectly-timed run of his fellow Dubliner.
The Republic of Ireland will now face hosts France on Sunday in Lyon as one of the four best third-placed finishers.
Norwich City's Irish heroes are joined in the last 16 by Northern Ireland's Kyle Lafferty, with Lafferty's country playing neighbours Wales in Paris on Saturday.
