Ryan Bennett set to feature for Norwich City Reserves
Norwich City's January signing Ryan Bennett could make his first outing for the Canaries in today's Premier Reserve League fixture against Fulham at Colney (3pm).
The England U21 international's last competitive appearance came a month ago in his Championship farewell for former club Peterborough at Doncaster.
Bennett was an unused substitute in City's recent Premier League defeat at Stoke, but the 22-year-old has not been included in any of Paul Lambert's match day squads since.
Bennett was one of two New Year arrivals, alongside Jonny Howson. The ex-Leeds midfielder featured in City's previous Colney reserve fixture against Wolves last month after overcoming his knee injury prior to forcing his way into Lambert's first team plans. However, the Scot cautioned prior to last weekend's Premier League win over Wolves Bennett will need time to adjust to top-flight life with the Canaries.
'I have had a chat with Ryan and he is a different type from Jonny,' he said.

'Howson had played a lot of games for Leeds United, he was the captain so he is a big player. Ryan has come from Peterborough and he is a young player still learning.
'He has been here for a few weeks and he has seen how we work and bedded himself in. It has been really good for him and he is one for the not too distant future. 'I'd have no problems throwing him in, that is for sure, but I've said it before that Howson, not just short term, but over the longer term he will be a right top player. It is great for the rest of he group that we have managed to add that fresh face or two.'

Lambert may opt to also include some of his first teamers who did not feature against Wolves against the Cottagers' development squad.
The likes of Aaron Wilbraham and Jed Steer were unused substitutes, whilst defender Leon Barnett was not in the squad.
Fellow centre back Daniel Ayala may also be considered after returning to training towards the end of last week following his recent hamstring injury.
Declan Rudd is back in training after Lambert confirmed prior to the weekend he had started work with City's goalkeeping coach following his foot injury.
Lambert also stated before the Wolves win both Marc Tierney (knee) and James Vaughan (hamstring) were making good progress in their fitness battles.
A youthful Norwich squad picked up their first Premier Reserve League away point of the season last time out against Wigan with Jamar Loza and Jacob Murphy on target. None of Fulham's senior stars is expected to be on duty in Norfolk with Martin Jol's men having played Manchester United last night in the Premier League.
The club have confirmed supporters are able to watch today's reserves at Colney.
