Reported Norwich City transfer target Brendan Galloway is believed to be closing in on a move to the Premier League with Everton.
The Milton Keynes Dons defensive midfielder missed training with his League One team-mates last week and is now understood to be away with the Toffees' Under-21s group in Austria ahead of a confirmed move to Goodison Park, despite the Dons' players and coaches heading to Ireland for their usual pre-season training camp.
The 18-year-old – who followed Everton's official Twitter account in recent days – impressed last season and was linked with a move to Carrow Road at the start of the month.
