Throughout today we have been running a poll asking supporters of Norwich City to vote on what a fair ticket price would be for the club's upcoming League Cup quarter-final at Carrow Road.

The club's chief executive, David McNally, sparked debate on Twitter this morning when he asked Canaries fans for feedback about the club's Capital One Cup ticket prices so far this season.

A crowd of 16,465 watched the club's 2-1 fourth round victory over Tottenham Hotspur last night, suggesting plenty of City fans were not happy to pay 30 for the match.

The club's second and third round matches, against lower league sides Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers respectively, had cost just 10.

So the rise in price was criticised by some City fans ahead of the match.

All associated with the club now have a quarter-final to look forward to against Aston Villa, managed by former City boss Paul Lambert, in early December.

The City chief executive clearly wants to try and get pricing for the match right, so we asked you to let him know what a fair price would be.

Over 1,000 people voted in our online poll today and, as of 5pm, the winning choice was 25 with 46pc of the votes, narrowly ahead of 20, which received 42pc of the votes.

Just 10pc of people voted for 30 and only 1pc of people voted for 35 and 40, just 10 and 14 people respectively.

The poll will remain open however, so there is still time to cast your vote.
