Police are investigating an incident at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon when an object was thrown at referee's assistant Adrian Sannerude during the game.
The incident happened in the 77th minute when Reading defender Ian Harte – who had been jeered by the crowd during the game after a controversial incident between the teams when they met in November – was preparing to take a throw-in near the corner flag in front of the visiting fans.
The official momentarily slumped to the ground, but the game quickly resumed.
'We believe an object was thrown from the home section of the crowd,' said club spokesman Joe Ferrari. 'We believe we have identified the perpetrator. The matter has been taken up by police. there will be no further comment at this time.'
