6 Bobby Olejnik: Two finger-tip saves to deny Elliott Bennett and Robert Snodgrass from range. No chance with the goals.

5 Craig Alcock: Hauled off after barely half-an-hour. No sign of an injury which tells you everything about what his boss thought.

5 Shaun Brisley: Misplaced pass was punished severely for Norwich's third goal. Looked happier in the centre of a back three.

5 Nathaniel Knight-Percival: Sacrificed at the interval with the home side striving for a way back into the contest.

6 Mark Little: Showed plenty of energetic intent. Peterborough's best outlet in the final quarter.

5 Kane Ferdinand: Never really edged his personal duel with Bradley Johnson, and Peterbrough suffered the consequences.

6 Michael Bostwick: Plenty of muscular intent. Left his mark on Simeon Jackson early. Toe-poked close range stab late on.

5 Joe Newell: Spurned what proved to be the hosts' best chance inside the opening three minutes. Dallied too long.

6 Tommy Rowe: Skipper tried to lead by example. Still bombing forward in the closing stages.

6 George Boyd: Given a key role linking front to back. Undoubted ability but never really left his stamp on the cup-tie.

5 Danny Swanson: Non-existent before he got the hook. In his defence, too often isolated with Peterborough on the retreat.
