Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries' final game of 2016

Norwich fans can vote here and this is Paddy's verdict on Alex Neil's troops.

• John Ruddy

A watching brief for the big man, which was a testament to the players in front of him. Did have to come and collect crosses at key moments in the midst of Brentford's late bombardment. 6.5

• Russell Martin

Calm, reassuring presence in the middle of a back three. Some exccellent diagonal passes into Norwich's front two. 7.0

• Ryan Bennett

Brilliant last-ditch tackle foiled Scott Hogan. Brentford fans screamed for a penalty but Bennett was foot-perfect. Far more assured in a three. 7.0

• Timm Klose

Understandably rusty in the early sparring on the left of the three. Grew into the contest and produced a number of touch-tight interventions in the second period. 7.0

• Ivo Pinto

In this system Pinto has the insurance to accentuate his attacking instincts. Numerous bursts into opposition territory, capped by a cut-back that Cameron Jerome blazed over. 7.0

• Youssouf Mulumbu

Might struggle with the Championship workload of games in quick succession but no doubt he has the experience and the combative genes to inject dynamism into Norwich's central midfield. Broke up plenty of potential home attacks and was a general annoyance to the Bees. 7.5

• Alex Tettey

Just looks a better player when he has a like-minded soul alongside him in Youssouf Mulumbu. The duo were impressive at Derby last month and the same here. Destructive presence so vital in the Championship. 7.5

• Robbie Brady

City may opt to appeal his red card but it robbed Norwich of his key influence for the final push at Griffin Park. Broke at will and picked out Cameron Jerome for a number of his best chances in that left-hand channel. 7.0

• Alex Pritchard

Not the presence of the corresponding Championship duel at Carrow Road. Did trigger the best of Cameron Jerome's chances with the perfectly-cushioned ball into the overlapping Ivo Pinto. No lack of work-rate or endeavour. 6.5

• Nelson Oliveira

Willingness to run the channels but few sights of goal to add to his growing tally. 6.5

• Cameron Jerome

A night to forget in front of goal for the recalled striker. Experienced enough to know more composure and a clinical edge would have earned him plenty of plaudits and match-winning headlines. Albeit his flick did create a great chance for Jacob Murphy. 5.5

City substitutes

• Jacob Murphy 6.5
