Norwich City fans have had plenty to discuss this afternoon after it was announced that seven senior players will not be having their contracts renewed this summer.

Our deputy sports editor Mark Armstrong and City writer David Freezer discussed the news in a live video on The Pink Un Facebook page, taking questions and comments from Canaries supporters.

That followed the announcement that goalkeeper John Ruddy and defender Ryan Bennett were among the seven who would be free agents as of June 30.

The long-serving duo are joined by defenders Sebastien Bassong, Michael Turner and Steven Whittaker, midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu and striker Kyle Lafferty in being informed they will not have their contracts renewed.
