Norwich City Under-21s 2 Chelsea Under-21s 2

A bumper crowd of 9,146 were at Carrow Road as Martin Olsson stepped up his comeback from injury with an appearance for Norwich City's Under-21 side.

The Swedish defender played for the first 45 minutes of the Canaries' match with Chelsea, picking up a yellow card on the way, before making way for Harry Toffolo at the interval.

An entertaining match ended in a 2-2 draw, with Conor McGrandles and Tony Andreu – another over-age player – on target as the visitors twice came from behind to pick up a point.

The Canaries took the lead on 26 minutes when Elliott Bennett's low cross found McGrandles to slot home from six-yards out.

The visitors were behind for just 12 minutes, however, as Charly Musonda's corner was helped towards goal by John Swift and Ola Aina was on hand to level.

Dmitri Halajko's team regained the lead just before half-time as an unmarked Andreu rose highest to head home Bennett's inswinging free-kick.

Musonda was then allowed space and time in the Norwich penalty area on 64 minutes and took full advantage, calmly placing the ball low into the corner of Kean's net to restore parity.

Halajko told City's official website afterwards: 'I think it's a fair result. Both teams had chances and both teams had spells.'
