Norwich City's Under-18s were on the wrong end of a 7-0 defeat at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday as several of Neil Adams' more experienced scholars were rested ahead of tomorrow evening's FA Youth Cup semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.
After a hectic recent schedule, the line-up consisted mainly of players from younger age groups as the Teesiders ran out comfortable winners at Colney Training Centre.
The visitors' goals came from Luke Armstrong (2), Thomas McAloon (2), Jonathan Helm, Nathan McGinley and Robbie Tinkler.
