158 appearances/18 goals
It wasn't the most auspicious of starts for Chris Llewellyn as he made his Norwich City league debut as a 19-year-old in a 5-0 defeat at Wolves in January 1998.
However, a product of the Canaries' youth team, Llewellyn broke into the first team that season and went on to make 16 appearances, notching four goals in the process. He really established himself as a first team regular in the next three seasons and thanks to being left-sided, and Welsh, was dubbed 'the new Ryan Giggs' in some quarters.
However, he found a regular starting spot hard come by in the 2001/2 season. He was loaned out to Bristol Rovers in the following campaign before he was eventually released by the Canaries in June 2003. He went on to join Wrexham where he briefly got back into the international ranks before going on to play for Hartlepool, Wrexham again, Grimsby, Neath and Llanelli.
