Robbie Brady's £7m move from Hull to Norwich City is close to completion, with the Tigers in final negotiations with the Canaries, the Hull Daily Mail reported today.

The Irish winger has been linked with a move to Carrow Road for the past few weeks, but the clubs had been unable to agree a fee.

Hull manager Steve Bruce slammed an earlier bid by Norwich for his player as 'embarrassing'.

'Norwich have come in with bids for Robbie Brady but I have to say they've been embarrassing,' Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail earlier in July.

'The supporters should know the truth and Norwich came in two weeks ago with a bid of £2m, £2.5m and then £3m. That's ridiculous for someone who is 23, has played two years in the Premier League and has become a regular international.'

Brady is not expected to travel with the Hull squad to Austria on Saturday morning, staying behind to complete the move, the Hull newspaper reported.

The £7m deal is yet to be confirmed by Norwich City.
