Norwich City's scheduled Premier League trip to Aston Villa has been switched for live television coverage and will now take place at Villa Park on Sunday, March 2 (Kick-off 4.30pm).

Chris Hughton's squad were set to visit the Midlands for their latest reunion with former boss Paul Lambert 24 hours earlier, but the clash has been moved and will kick off at a slightly later time on Sunday afternoon following the Capital One Cup final at Wembley between Manchester City and Sunderland.

City drew 1-1 at Villa Park last season but lost the corresponding home fixture earlier this campaign 1-0 at Carrow Road. Lambert has yet to lose against his former employers since leaving Norfolk in 2012.

The two clubs have been embroiled in a transfer stand off over Wes Hoolahan's future in recent days. Villa's original enquiry earlier in the January window sparked Hoolahan to hand in a transfer request which was swiftly rejected by the Canaries.
