Norwich City defender Jens Berthel Askou is set to join Millwall in a one-month loan deal.
The 28-year-old has made 33 appearances for Norwich City and scored three goals since moving to Carrow Road in July 2009.
Askou has found first team opportunities limited this season with Leon Barnett, Elliott Ward, Michael Nelson and Zak Whitbread all competing for the centre back positions.
There is a clause in the loan deal which states that Askou may not feature for Millwall when they visit Carrow Road on Tuesday, February 1.
Norwich City boss Paul Lambert told the club's official website: 'With Elliott coming back soon and Leon, Zak and Michael all in there we've got great competition for places in central defence at the minute and it's very difficult for Jens to get games. He needs to be playing some competitive football and going to Millwall will give him a chance to get that.'
