A strong Norwich line-up eased to a 3-1 friendly win at Ryman League Billericay on Thursday night.
The Canaries featured established seniors Adam Drury, Zak Whitbread, Korey Smith, Aaron Wilbraham and Simeon Jackson – the Canadian international opening the scoring on 37 minutes with a close-range finish following an excellent burst from Wilbraham.
Jay May replied five minutes later but second half substitute Patrick Drmola pounced on an error by the home keeper to score the City second before Wilbraham converted a last minute penalty after Tom Adeyemi was upended.
