Daniel Farke finds himself in the midst of an unprecedented injury crisis at Norwich City.

But which players are currently occupying the treatment rooms at Colney and when can they be expected to return? Here is the full list:

Lukas Rupp - Hamstring

What Farke said: “With Lukas, his left hamstring looked to be alright but after the warm-up on Friday he felt something in the right hamstring. Maybe he has over-compensated a bit. Not a major thing but he was uncomfortable and not able to sprint. If I am honest he was really in my thoughts and had a good chance to start."

Possible return: Luton Town (A), Wednesday, December 2

Max Aarons - Shin

What Farke said: “It seems like the ankle is alright. That is some good news but it is painful. He was not able to walk on his own and in the changing room it is pretty swollen. Let’s wait for the assessment. It is too early to judge."

Possible return: Luton Town (A), Wednesday, December 2

Tim Krul - Thigh strain

What Farke said: “It is bad news for us to be without the best keeper in the league for these games. However, you could argue the way he went off we were concerned it could be a longer-term injury. Our physios and doctors feel Tim can return to team training at that point, maybe plus or minus a few days."

Possible return: Reading (A). Wednesday, December 16

Teemu Pukki - Hamstring

What Farke said: “Teemu will probably also miss the midweek game at Luton. Maybe a little chance. It is a minor muscle strain. We tried to rest him for Middlesbrough and then he played 70 minutes at Stoke."

Possible return: Luton Town (A). Wednesday, December 2

Eastern Daily Press: Todd Cantwell is edging closer to a Norwich City return.Todd Cantwell is edging closer to a Norwich City return. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Todd Cantwell - Hip

What Farke said: “Todd Cantwell felt already something during training on Friday, we had to assess him, it was a little muscle strain in his hip flexor, he will be out for three weeks from last Friday, so will definitely miss the next games.

Possible return: Sheffield Wednesday (H), Saturday, December 5

Eastern Daily Press: Bali Mumba's knee injury happened as he looked set for a run in City's side.Bali Mumba's knee injury happened as he looked set for a run in City's side. (Image: ©Focus Images Limitedhttps://www.focus-images.co.uk+44 7813 022858)

Bali Mumba - Knee ligaments

What Farke said: “Bali rolled his knee, maybe caught it a bit in the grass. I was pretty shocked because I knew at this moment he had done something. If the ligament had been completely interrupted it would have been surgery. There is also a small injury on his patella, which is all connected.

“There was no contact, it wasn’t a duel. If all goes to plan we hope to have him available in ten weeks.

Possible return: February 2021

Eastern Daily Press: Canaries striker Jordan Hugill hurt his shoulder during the win at Middlesbrough.Canaries striker Jordan Hugill hurt his shoulder during the win at Middlesbrough. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Jordan Hugill - Shoulder

What Farke said: “I can also confirm that Jordan Hugill has an interrupted ligament in his shoulder and two partially interrupted ligaments as well. We try to handle it in a conservative way but there is still perhaps a little question mark as to whether he needs the surgery. If he needs the surgery it will be a pretty long term injury."

Possible return: Reading (A). Wednesday, December 16 (dependent on whether he requires surgery)

Eastern Daily Press: Adam Idah is out injured until February.Adam Idah is out injured until February. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Adam Idah - Knee ligaments

What Farke said: “He got a hit on his foot and that caused a twist to the knee, with the same outcome as Bali. No surgery and the same timescale. Horrendous news for both and not good for us in this period of many games."

Possible return: February 2021

Xavi Quintilla - Hip

What Farke said: “It’s a bit of a mystery and it’s difficult to judge it because his muscle is absolutely fine, the scans are fine but he is still symptomatic and doesn’t seem to improve. Right now we have to go further on and to think about sending him back to his mother club because he is a player of Villarreal and perhaps to speak with them about what should be the next steps."

Possible return date: Unknown

Eastern Daily Press: Sam Byram's scheduled return is in January.Sam Byram's scheduled return is in January. (Image: ©Focus Images Limitedwww.focus-images.co.uk+447814 482222)

Sam Byram - Hamstring

What Farke said: “We hope he is available in January. That is the plan. No setback to report but after the second surgery, the whole rehab process had to start all over again. That means three and a half months. He will definitely need a couple of months to return to team training. January is more realistic."

Possible return: January 2021

Eastern Daily Press: Kieran Dowell is set for a New Year return.Kieran Dowell is set for a New Year return. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Kieran Dowell - Ankle

What Farke said: “The good thing is surgery went well and I have told him he has two or three days where I will allow him to be disappointed. But after that he has to make sure he comes back stronger than before. For a new lad it is difficult. He was on his way to settling in, now he is out for 12 to 14 weeks and we don’t expect him to be ready to play again until January."

Possible return: January 2021

Eastern Daily Press: Kenny McLean is waiting to see if he needs surgery on a knee injury that looks set to rule him out until January.Kenny McLean is waiting to see if he needs surgery on a knee injury that looks set to rule him out until January. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Kenny McLean - Knee injury

What Farke said: “Sadly I also have to confirm that Kenny McLean will also be out. We had to scan him this morning because he twisted his knee and he has a meniscus tear. Either we handle it in a conservative way which will mean he will be out for six weeks, if he needs surgery he will be out for four to five months, so a big blow for him and for us as well."

Possible return: FA Cup third-round tie. Saturday, January 8

Eastern Daily Press: Onel Hernandez has been ruled out for two to three months with an adductor injury.Onel Hernandez has been ruled out for two to three months with an adductor injury. (Image: Paul Chesterton)

Onel Hernandez - Hip

What Farke said: “Onel still feels some pain after his surgery. He is doing some rehab work but still far away from returning to the pitch. A few steps from running."

Possible return: January 2021
