Norwich City Ladies are just one win away from a national final.

They moved into the semi-finals of the England Hockey Knock-out Cup at the weekend after seeing off Lincoln side Lindum 1-0 at Taverham.

Micayla Tootill's goal set up a trip to either Oxford Ladies or Team Bath Buccaneers Ladies for a side who also have a chance of claiming promotion to the top flight of the East League.

They are currently five points behind second-placed Bedford II, who have completed their programme, and need to win their two outstanding games to overtake them.

Dereham are currently third in the Division IN table but have only one game left to play and can't climb any higher in the table.

Harleston Magpies II completed a triumphant programme with two more wins at the weekend. They beat Watton 6-0 at home and St Neots 4-1 away to make it 64 points from a possible 66.

Lowestoft also had a busy two days, beating Newmarket 5-3 before losing 2-1 to Colchester.

Norwich Dragons II stayed in the thick of the promotion battle in Division 2NE as they kept the pressure on front runners Ipswich II and Ipswich and East Suffolk with two wins in two days.

They kicked off a busy weekend with a 2-0 home win over Yarmouth. Gail Thomas and Hannah Hardy combined to feed Maddy Reynolds, who forced the ball in from the tightest of angles to open the scoring. The lead was doubled before the interval when a quick break down the left saw the ball fed to Laura Ward, who calmly smashed the ball into the corner.

The following day Dragons travelled to Framlingham and came away with a thumping 8-1 win.

In Deb Painter's final game for the club before moving away Dragons opening the scoring through Hardy before being pegged back – but from then on it was one-way traffic.
