Norwich City's fans have had their say on who should be the club's next manager with experienced German boss Ralf Rangnick viewed as a surprise candidate to replace Chris Hughton at Carrow Road.
The 55-year-old polled 43% of the total vote in an online week-long poll which attracted more than 6,000 responses from Canaries supporters.
Rangnick took Schalke to the 2011 Champions League semi-finals and has a record of winning promotion lower down the pyramid in Germany.
City's board issued a statement after the club's Premier League relegation was confirmed indicating they had drawn up a four man shortlist.
Malky Mackay and Neil Lennon have been heavily touted with the position and Celtic boss Lennon polled 18% of the total votes cast, with former City defender Mackay attracting 9%. The Scot is available after his mid-season departure from Cardiff and last week's announcement he had resolved his outstanding issues with the Bluebirds' hierarchy. Lennon has outlined his desire to work in the English top flight in the future, but the Bhoys' boss also insisted in recent days he was happy at Parkhead with Celtic again in the qualifying stages of the Champions League later this summer.
Neil Adams replaced Hughton for the final five games of the club's failed Premier League survival bid and the FA Youth Cup winning coach attracted 3% in our online poll, alongside the likes of former Manchester United duo Mike Phelan and David Moyes.
