Norwich City's central defender Timm Klose is drawing on his experience of the Bundesliga to predict Hannover 96 will offer a stiff pre-season test on Saturday at Carrow Road.

Klose played against The Reds last season in a 1-1 German top flight league draw, prior to completing a mid-season switch to England. Hannover, like the Canaries, were relegated but the fit-again Klose, who missed the run-in with a knee injury, insists Hannover deserve respect.

'They are good with the ball and know how to pass it,' he told the club's official site. 'Last year they had a bad run of games, which affected their confidence. That ended with them going down, but I think they're a great team.

'It's going to be a tough match because they have a lot of quality. If they bring that quality onto the pitch then it will give us a good challenge.

'I'm happy to be back fit, which is the most important thing. My biggest concern was making sure my knee was ready for the season. Now I'm looking forward to playing at home again in front of our own fans, which is always good. We'll try to play a good game for them before the season starts next week.'
