Daniel Ayala has joined Championship side Nottingham Forest in a season-long loan deal.
Ayala, who joined from Liverpool last summer in a reported 800,000 deal, endured an injury interruped campaign with the Canaries last season, making just 10 appearances.
City boss Chris Hughton admitted last week he was considering a loan offer from Forest, who recently appointed Sean O'Driscoll as their new manager.
After recently adding Michael Turner to his back line from Sunderland, Hughton could not guarantee Ayala regular first team football and feels the Spaniard's development will be helped with a spell at Forest.
