The Canaries took the lead in the 14th minute when Teemu Pukki found the bottom-right corner with a powerful strike from the edge of the box to notch his fifth goal of the season for City.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson bundled home an equaliser for the hosts in the 72nd minute but substitute Mario Vrancic fired City back into the lead within two minutes after a fine turn in the box, blasting home from 10 yards off his left boot.

The victory lifted Daniel Farke's team up to 12th place in the Championship table, within two points of the top six, to build on Saturday's 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough.

The Canaries are back in action on Saturday when they head to resurgent Queens Park Rangers (5.30pm kick-off), who beat Millwall 2-0 at home to stretch their unbeaten league run to four matches.
