Defeat at Birmingham has been consigned to the past, now Norwich City are focused on bouncing back straight away.
The Canaries have been left to stew on that disappointing 3-0 loss at St Andrew's during the two-week international break.
Two home games in quick succession, against Cardiff today and Wigan on Tuesday night, provide City with a good chance to get back on track and captain Jonny Howson is relishing the opportunity.
'When you've had a defeat in the manner we did, you want a game as soon as possible to get that defeat out of the system, to move on and put it right,' said Howson. 'So that's what we'll be looking to do and there's two games at home, you've got to take the first one first, there's no point looking ahead to the second one.'
The former Leeds midfielder insists the City squad have not dwelt on their poor performance at Birmingham though and is confident Alex Neil's team will show they have the character to prove that game was a blip in an otherwise solid start to the campaign.
'We're a fairly experienced bunch and it's part and parcel of the game,' Howson added. 'Sometimes you are going to get setbacks and it's not whether you get knocked down it's about whether you get back up.
'I've always said whether you win, lose or draw, your focus has got to be on the next game because it's coming next and it's the only thing you can affect.
