Grant Holt is in the running for the npower Championship's player of the season award.
The Norwich City striker, who took his tally in all competitions up to 18 with an early penalty against Bristol City on Monday, finds himself in a three-way battle for the prestigious accolade.
Also short-listed by a panel of judges are QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt, who has scored 15 from midfield this term, and Swansea's Scott Sinclair, who has found the net 21 times.
Holt will learn whether he has been successful on Sunday, when the Football League's annual awards night takes place in London.
Young colleague Henri Lansbury, who set up Monday's dramatic 3-1 win with a late second goal, has also been nominated.
He is one of three men in the running for the League's Young Player of the Year category alongside Watford's Will Buckley and Connor Wickham of Ipswich Town.
