Norwich City's Under-18s earned the scalp of Premier Academy League Group A leaders Fulham on Wednesday afternoon with a 2-1 win in London.
Jamar Loza's first-half opener was cancelled out at the start of the second half, but Jacob Murphy struck with 20 minutes remaining to send City level on points with West Ham United in fifth.
'It was a first class performance and obviously the result is important too, but the way the players played was what pleased us so much,' said assistant youth team coach Neil Adams.
'In the last few weeks we've beaten Arsenal, West Ham, and Fulham, so it shows what sort of potential we have and that's key coming into an important month with the Norfolk Senior Cup and the FA Youth Cup.
'A few of these players play reserve team football…even though that has been difficult for them, we are seeing that development.'
• Norwich City: Matthews, Florence, Barker, McKenzie, Toffolo, Kelly, McGeehan (Jacob Murphy), Clunan, Josh Murphy (Peacock), Hall-Johnson, Loza (Norman). Unused sub: Cable.
