Kenny McLean is ruled out until after the international break with ankle ligament damage suffered in the midweek League Cup win over Stevenage.
There was better news for Tom Trybull, who was forced off in the same game with what Daniel Farke confirmed on Friday was a dead leg and is fit for duty. Ivo Pinto and Todd Cantwell are ruled out with illness.
Emi Buendia returned to training on Friday after the birth of his child in Spain but is not under consideration this weekend.
Marco Stiepermann took a bang on the knee in midweek but is fit for duty. Russell Martin and Nelson Oliveira remain out of favour but Mario Vrancic (pelvis), Matt Jarvis (knee) and Carlton Morris (knee) are all out longer term.

'It is always pretty annoying and difficult to play them and that is a credit to him.
'They are difficult to defend against, played a good season last season, and they have made some really good signings. I am full of respect for him, and he is pretty crucial for the Blades.
