City head coach Daniel Farke confirmed Trybull will not travel after suffering a back problem in the FA Cup tie against Chelsea that has got worse. Pritchard's sale to Premier League Huddersfield was sealed on Friday lunchtime, while Yanic Wildschut completed a loan move to Cardiff at the start of a hectic day.

Farke, speaking at Colney, admitted he had had better weeks since taking charge of the Canaries.

'Yes, it is has been a tough few days after the Chelsea game, when we looked like the team of the moment,' he said. 'We'll have to do without Tom because he has problems with his back. He felt it in the last game, and it hasn't improved since then which is a real shame because he was in a good shape.

'Yesterday he trained with us in the morning but his back got worse and worse, and this morning he was hardly able to walk. We can't judge how serious it is yet, as back injuries can come and go, but we hope he can come back pretty soon.'

Harrison Reed will be in the squad but is still struggling with a hip problem. Nelson Oliveira and Marco Stiepermann have also been passed fit but Cameron Jerome (back) is ruled out,

'Harrison returned to training this week, but he's not 100pc comfortable, but because of the Tom Trybull news, we feel we need him so he will travel with us to Bristol,' said Farke. 'Nelson is available,' Farke said. 'The problems with his feet are sorted out. Jerome is back in team training but it's a bit early for tomorrow.
