Norwich City's U21 squad picked up their second win of the new development league season yesterday with a 1-0 victory at Bolton.
The Canaries' line-up – featuring Jacob Butterfield as an over-age player in his first outing for the club since a summer move from Barnsley – claimed all three points when Josh Murphy's cross was deflected past his own keeper by Trotters' defender Oscar Threlkeld in the 76th minute.
Scott Marshall's side also included keeper Jed Steer and midfielder Tom Adeyemi who was making his first City appearance since a foot injury curtailed a loan spell at Oldham towards the end of last season.
Jamar Loza led the line for the Canaries after a hat-trick in the opening league win against Blackburn's U21s.
Rian Carroll's brace earned the U18s a 2-2 home draw yesterday against their Bolton counterparts.
