West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson admits revenge will be the order of the day as Norwich City make their second trip to The Hawthorns in a fortnight.

The Canaries left with three priceless Premier League points and a 2-1 win on January 14 – but on Saturday attention turns to the FA Cup with a place in the fifth round up for grabs in City's second visit of the season.

'It maybe gives you a chance to give one or two players a game who haven't been getting a game all the time, which is also quite an advantage at this time of the year – especially with the week that follows, which contains two Premier League games,' said Hodgson.

'So I'm quite looking forward to the game and revenge is foremost on our minds.'

Both Hodgson and City boss Paul Lambert may be tempted to ring the changes. Norwich face the long trek to Sunderland four days later, while next Wednesday also sees Albion travel to Fulham.

The Baggies are currently four points and six places behind City in the top flight and, like Norwich, face Sunderland and Swansea in the coming weeks – a prospect made easier by bouncing back from their defeat to Norwich with an excellent 2-1 win at Stoke on Saturday.

Hodgson has challenged his players to put their dismal home form behind them during the final third of the season.

The Baggies have collected 25 points during the current campaign but only eight of them have come at the Hawthorns, where they have suffered seven defeats.

In contrast, Albion have achieved five victories away from home and clocked up 17 points to help keep them clear of the relegation zone.

'We have had bad results and not many performances have lived up to what our home public would have been hoping for. Our away performances have been better,' said Hodgson.

'But it is a quirk and not a trend and if someone says 'why?', I can't explain it. Perhaps we are trying too hard to get it right so, when things go against you, it is hard to get back on track.

'Our away form has dampened down the impact of our home results. But our home form is very important to us.I would expect many of our points in the final third of the season to come at home and that we can put this unfortunate period behind us.

'In this Premier League every single game is like a cup final – you can win it and you can lose it.'
