Player ratings for both Norwich City and Arsenal following their Premier League clash.

• Norwich City

8 John Ruddy: Shot-stopping brilliance you come to expect now. Denied Arsenal's legions singlehandedly at times.

7 Kyle Naughton: Done by Yossi Benayoun for the opener. Made amends with the assist for Wes Hoolahan. Pure athlete.

7 Ryan Bennett: Brilliant anticipation on numerous occasions in the eye of the gathering second half storm.

7 Russell Martin: Switched back inside and a calming influence alongside Ryan Bennett. Denied a clear penalty in the first period.

7 Simon Lappin: Re-adjusted well in exalted company. Slight question mark over his offside attempt for Arsenal's second.

7 Bradley Johnson: Dogged shift breaking up Arsenal's rhythm through the centre in the first half. Good foil for the expansive Howson

7 Elliott Bennett: Key role in Norwich's first. Disciplined defensively. Getting better with each passing week at this level.

8 Jonny Howson: Assists for all three goals. The spin and pivot to lose two Arsenal midfielders for Norwich's third was quality.

8 Wes Hoolahan: Loved the wide open spaces and the attacking licence. Slotted the opener, teed up the second. Dominant.

8 Grant Holt: Skipper at his very best. Bullied Arsenal backline into submission at times. Fully deserved his goal.

7 Simeon Jackson: Stretched Arsenal in the first period at will. Wonderful work ethic. Denied by the keeper when clean through.

Subs: Steve Morison (for Jackson) 7, Anthony Pilkington (for Hoolahan) 6, Aaron Wilbraham (for Holt) 6

• Arsenal

6 Wojciech Szczesny: Nervy. Looked unsettled all day. Weak parry for Norwich's opener was symptomatic.

6 Bacary Sagna: Offered a productive early attacking outlet down the right. Latest injury a terrible blow for club and country.

6 Laurent Koscielny: Lucky boy to go unpunished for a blatant shirt pull on Russell Martin inside the box. Dominated by Grant Holt.

7 Thomas Vermaelen: Powerful defender. Excellent counter-attacking instincts. Only Ryan Bennett denied him a certain goal.

6 Kieran Gibbs: Unfortunate assist for Holt's deflected strike. Better in an attacking sense. Headed great chance at John Ruddy.

6 Aaron Ramsey: The Welsh skipper struggled badly to impose his will on this contest. Target for the home boo boys as well.

6 Alex Song: Excellent vision to pick out Robin van Persie for the equaliser. Seemed to enjoy his running battle with Holt.

6 Gervinho: Better in Arsenal's dominant spells after the interval. Has all the skills. Temperament questionable.

7 Tomas Rosicky: Getting back to his best. Constant threat around Norwich's penalty area. An archetypal Wenger player.

7 Yossi Benayoun: Wonderful technique for the opener. Seemingly back in favour ever since his reserve run out at Carrow Road.

8 Robin van Persie: Pure class. Needed a sighter or two on his less favoured right foot, but you can see why he is the main man.

Subs: Francis Coquelin (for Sagna) 6, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (for Ramsey) 6, Marouane Chamakh (for Benayoun) 6
