Aston Villa are having talks with former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over their managerial vacancy.
Solskjaer is current boss at Norwegian club Molde - who he won the league with last season - and they have given him permission to speak to Villa.
His odds of taking over at the Birmingham club were slashed dramatically yesterday and he is now as short as 1/10 with some bookmakers.
Norwich City manager Paul Lambert has been linked with the job since Alex McLeish was sacked on Monday and sources close to Villa are reportedly saying that no firm decision has been made on a new manager.
