Norwich City defender Elliott Ward has joined Nottingham Forest on an emergency loan.
The 27-year-old has signed for the Championship club until December 29 and will be available for Saturday's game at Barnsley.
Forest manager Boss Sean O'Driscoll signed Ward after Daniel Ayala sustained a hamstring injury at Blackpool that could keep him out for up to three weeks.
Chairman Omar Al Hasawi said: 'Once it became clear that Daniel would miss a number of games we felt it was important to add to our defensive options.
'Elliott has great experience having played in the Premier League with Norwich last season and will be a valuable addition to our squad.'
