Norwich City's road to Wembley will start with an FA Cup third round tie at near neighbours Peterborough United.
The Championship's bottom side Posh will host City at London Road in the first tie of their FA Cup campaign.
The third round ties will be played on the weekend of January 5 and 6, 2013.
Norwich City manager Chris Hughton told the club's official website: 'First and foremost I'm pleased for our supporters, as it's not too far to travel.
'If you are going to play away from home you want to avoid a draw against another Premier League team, and we've been fortunate in the Capital One Cup to have home draws so the law of averages says that this one was going to go against us.
'Peterborough will be dangerous because they'll be lifted by the fact they are playing against Premier League opposition and we know how the FA Cup can affect teams.
'The FA Cup is still one you look forward to as a manager and player. There's always massive excitement once the draw comes out, and I'm quite sure there will be a full house and a great atmosphere at London Road.
'Some might say it was a bit of a premonition, but I was there at London Road only yesterday actually, because it was an opportunity to watch a game, and there aren't too many places you can get to in time for kick-off on a Saturday after training.'
