Norwich City are reportedly interested in signing Bolton Wanderers winger Lee Chung-Yong in a swap deal involving Anthony Pilkington.

The Sunday People claim the Canaries want to sign the South Korean international, who is entering the final year of his deal with the Trotters.

The newspaper rates both players at around £1million and claim transfer talks are imminent between the two clubs.

Pilkington has seen his City career stutter because of injury problems and is originally from the north-west of England, so could well be interested in a return to familiar surroundings.

The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international is also entering the final year of his contract and started just 10 Premier League games last season because of hamstring problems.

That is in stark contrast to his first season with the club after being signed for around £2million from Huddersfield by Paul Lambert in the summer of 2011.

He scored eight goals in 30 Premier League games during the 2011/12 season and then five in 30 league games during 2012/13, including the winner in a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Carrow Road.

Lee has been with Bolton for five seasons, since joining from FC Seoul for a fee of £2.2m in August 2009.

He has played 169 games for the Trotters, scoring 17 goals, and started all three of South Korea's group games during a disappointing World Cup campaign in Brazil this summer.
