Norwich City have been linked in the Italian press with a move for Roma striker Mattia Destro.
The 24-year-old Italy international is surplus to requirements at the Serie A giants, who are close to completing the signing of Edin Dzeko from Manchester City for a reported £14m.
Destro was loaned out to AC Milan for the second half of last season and has been linked with a Premier League move this summer in the form of West Ham.
The Corriere dello Sport claim City have submitted a formal offer for the 24-year-old, who has won eight caps with Italy, scoring one goal.
However, recently promoted Bologna are also monitoring the situation and could be willing to take Destro on a one-year loan.
It could be a case of one in, one out, with Middlesbrough reportedly interested in Gary Hooper according to a number of news outlets.
